Nocturne Etudes was an exhibition that involved a 1 ton sphere of ice, frozen the span of 100 hours in 1 cm increments. The ball of ice melted in the gallery, cooling the gallery down. Alongside the Ice Ball, was a 12 min dual 16mm film projection, Passageway, which depicted the setting sun on the Pacific Ocean in a 400 ft reel of film, the environment included deep sea sounds recorded by a marine biologist.
